What You Will Be Doing
– Lead enterprise-wide IT including strategic alignment and planning, governance, architecture, information management, solution delivery, and service management
– Collaborate with leadership to develop, support, and align Information Technology strategy and plan
– Manage a diverse IT operational environment including identity, access, and cyber security
– Determine IT needs, propose strategic solutions and recommend new systems and software
– Build strategic partnerships with key technology vendors and service providers to implement and support systems
– Develop, manage, and track the IT department’s annual budget while controlling budget and reporting on expenditure
– Build, manage, and develop a team of top-performing IT staff, provide leadership and coaching, clearly communicate expectations and appraise performance
– Prepares system configuration and deployment cost estimates, budgets, and schedules
– Ensure the growth of the overall IT organization is structured and aligned to help drive desired scalable growth
– You will produce stellar technical specs and documentation and drive the team to do the same
– Build and manage an IT environment compliant with HIPAA regulations and other internal and external control procedures
What You Need for this Position
7+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure and support:
– Bachelors degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or related field
-Must have experience in a life sciences organization with deep experience in fit-for-purpose technology investments and practices
– Extensive knowledge of cloud-based information technology systems (Office 365, Okta, Druva, MobileIron, VMWare, Workspace One) or equivalent
