Job description: Top Tier Financial Organization seeks Assistant Vice President- Compliance Technology.

This is a direct hire full-time role with a Premier mid-sized Financial

In this role you will be imbedded in the Compliance Group, responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of all Compliance related systems, applications and models.

You will be the technology SME for the Compliance group r esponsible for all Compliance technology needs and the liaison with the IT Group.

In summary, you will:

  • Manage multiple strategic projects for Compliance Department and act as the Compliance liaison to the IT Group and work closely with other departments in the Bank.
  • Monitor and maintain the Compliance systems such as Actimize (Suspicious Activity Monitoring), FIS Prime OFAC (sanctions monitoring tool), KYC Prime, KYC Tool, IBM Open Pages (issues tracking) and Refinitiv eGRC (risk assessment), to ensure the systems are operating effectively
  • Responsible for patch installation, upgrades from the Compliance side
  • Responsible for data, updates, UAT , and detailed documentation, including desktop procedures; w orking with internal teams and consultants to make sure implementation, documentation meet the needs of the department
  • In charge of requirement gathering, documentation, such as Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), as well as Model Risk Management, such as Model documentation, On-Going Monitoring Plan and Model Performance
  • Work with System/Model validation teams

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor Degree with Computer Science, Information Technology or related quantitative course of study (math, physics,…)
  • 4+ years of Compliance IT experience including extensive experience with AML systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience writing business requirements and documentation
  • Specific Actimize experience including understanding of Tuning Thresholds and Rules Suitability strongly preferred.

Expected salary: $125000 – 140000 per year
