Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Technology & Operations, the Analyst will assist with day to day management of questions related to HR systems functionality, administration of HR systems, standard and ad-hoc reporting, as well as HR data entry. The incumbent will also assist the overall HR team with the implementation of various initiatives in the areas of learning management and development, talent/succession, performance, recruitment and compensation management.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the management of our HR systems inbox by addressing functionality and configuration questions or facilitating discussions with relevant subject matter experts until issues are addressed
- Provide support for the input of daily transactions into our HR systems as required
- Participate in enhancements to our HR systems, including support for definition of business requirements and user acceptance testing activities
- Support the HR Technology & Operations team with various system administration tasks during our regular HR annual cycles (Objective Setting, Performance Review, Talent Pipeline, Succession Planning, 360 Reviews and Surveys, Year-end incentive compensation process etc.)
- Conduct regular analysis to ensure data accuracy, including vlookups, leveraging reports for data reconciliation efforts and random spot-checks of HR data
- Document and maintain business user guides for various system, including training material for business users across CPP Investments
- Look for efficiency gains in our processes and work with team members to drive changes
Qualifications
The preferred candidate will have 2-4 years’ experience working in a similar role.
Other position requirements:
- Strong planning and organizational skills with proven ability to manage competing priorities
- Very detail-oriented with a solid track record of achieving high quality results
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- Experience with Workday HCM is required
- Experience with PeopleFluent, Qualtrics, SmartRecruiters are beneficial in the role
- Proven ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information
- Ability to independently produce discrete pieces of work
- Collaborate across the organization and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to think ‘outside the box’
- Ability to foster effective working relationships at all levels internally and with vendors
- Able to identify opportunities, take initiative and think through future implications
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, under pressure and with time-sensitive deadlines
