Recruiting for AML KYC Analyst position for a leading Canadian Bank.
AML KYC Analyst is accountable to follow approved, documented processes and procedures to collect and analyze customer information to ensure in-depth knowledge of the customer and its relationship with Bank

What is the job?
- Conduct independent research and evidencing of customer information and documentation
- Responsible for adjudication of information and alerts related to Politically Exposed Persons, Adverse Media, and Sanctions
- Screen customer and role player names against designated Watch Lists to identify any potential sanctions or Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)
- Risk Rating generation and ability to independently apply enhanced analysis skills in order to provide an informed AML KYC recommendation to the Line of Business relating to customer risk.
- strict adherence to AML KYC Policies and Procedures and escalation protocols
- Conduct a full review of the files for a select segment of clients, ensuring that appropriate documentation is received, and that each customer profile is update with applicable information timely fashion.
What do you bring to the job?
- Minimum of 2+ years bank & AML experience
- Risk Management (Basic Microsoft Suite of Products–Basic to Intermediate).
- Undergraduate degree required, graduate degree or professional designations such as CAMS would be an asset
- Prior experience in “Know your customer” – searching websites and creating customer profiles
- AML/Fraud analysis knowledge would be an asset (i.e., fraud investigation experience)
- Strong understanding of complex financial instruments and interbank lending would be an asset (Trade finance, FX, fix incomes etc.) is an asset
