This position is the sole person responsible for accounting and will add value to the team through organizing administrative and office procedures as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounting duties for 3 entities including day-to-day transactional accounting using QuickBooks
  • Serving as the point of contact for vendor related issues/inquiries
  • Attending Management meetings; preparing agendas and keeping accurate minutes
  • Organizing and coordinating office procedures
  • Maintaining and ordering office supplies and equipment
  • Additional duties as required
  • The ideal candidate for this position will possess post-secondary education in Accounting or Business, coupled with 3+years of proven experience in bookkeeping and office management
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail are essential for success in this position
  • Candidates must be able to work well in a collaborative, entrepreneurial setting
  • Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Expected salary: $55000 – 65000 per year
