We are currently recruiting for a Temporary to Hire Accounting + Office Administrator position would be supporting the office. This is a position within the Hamilton area for an Information Technology company that has branches across the GTA and Buffalo. This position will involve directly assisting the accounting department with administrative duties, reviewing and printing reports, navigating and entering data into SAGE ERP system.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience within Accounting, Administration or Office positions that involved data entry, will have knowledge of Excel and SAGE, and strong attention to detail. This is a great full-time work-in-office opportunity.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Accounting + Office Administrator:
– Full Cycle Bookkeeping (including month-end and year-end)
– GST Filings
– Refunds / Cash Balancing
– Prepare monthly journal entries and monthly financial statements
– Perform balance sheet reconciliations, post payments, prepare bank deposits
– Investigation of invoicing errors and follow up with vendors
– Reviewing and printing reports
– Retrieving and distributing mail
– Scanning, copying, and filing documents
– Maintaining and order office supplies
Qualifications
Qualifications of the Accounting + Office Administrator:
– 3+ years of experience within Accounting, or Administration role
– Proficient within MS Excel and Word
– Must be an excellent communicator
– Must have great attention to detail and time management skills
– Experience with SAGE is a nice to have
– Understanding of AP & AR process is a nice to have
