Job title: Accounting Clerk

Job description: We are currently searching for a hard working and focused Junior Accounting Clerk who will be responsible for working with company financial data and provide support to our Accounting Team. You will be responsible for professionally interacting with team members within the head office and with our retail stores, comfortably communicating with our wholesale department, and effectively handling confidential and critical details.
In this role, under supervision, you will be involved with:
- Processing receivings on purchase orders and creating payables.
- Provide data entry support and assist with Accounting team projects within the department.
- Work with Accounting team members to assemble financial data for audits and inventory counts.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly and assist with preparation of reports to present to department managers.
- Complete accounting and clerical duties and act as a backup for other Accounting team positions.
The ideal candidate is a trustworthy professional and a team player with bookkeeping experience and will have:
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet all assigned deadlines
- Act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial information.
- Exceptional verbal and collaboration skills and be detail-oriented.
- Experience in administrative coordination with great organization and follow-up skills.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
- Computer literacy, including experience in Microsoft Office Suite and/or G Suite.

Expected salary: $16 – 18 per hour
