What you will do as the Accounting/Administrative Generalist – Backup as Needed:
Specific duties will include the following as they relate to each function below: settlements, invoicing, deposits, statements, payments and collection, managing TSheets, QBO and employee documents, reporting requirements, HST filings, bank reconciliations, funding applications and tracking, assist with inside sales/customer service duties, place material orders and maintain office supply inventory.
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable – Trade and Livestock
- Payroll
- Accounting
- Purchasing
- Reports to: Finance Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Skills, Competencies, Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bookkeeping/Accounting background
- Critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills
- Organization skills, high attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills in QuickBooks Online including MS Office, Google
- Ability to support diverse groups and individuals effectively
- Flexible and adaptable
- Verbal and written communication skills
- 3+ years accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- WHMIS
