Looking to hire a Full-Time Accounting Assistant!!
Benefits:

$45,000-$50,000

Work from home currently, until everyone goes back into the office
Requirements:
2 years’ of full cycle accounting/bookkeeping experience in a high-volume environment
Experience with QuickBooks, a huge asset
Able to work in a high-volume environment
Proficient using Microsoft Office
Highly detail oriented and able to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Job Duties:
Receive and verify all invoices from vendors and secure appropriate approvals for timely payment processing
Ensure any credits, discounts, payments, outstanding payments or account discrepancies are dealt with in a timely manner
Process a large volume of vendor invoices
Book invoices to accounting system ensuring appropriate coding & approvals are in place
Prepare, fulfill and distribute checks to vendors
Interact with external vendors and various internal departments to analyze and resolve payment issues
Reconciling vendor monthly invoices and resolve any discrepancies / issues
Prepare and fact-check invoices before sending to customers
Tracking and following up payment status from Customers
Typing, correspondence, faxes, and filing
Be capable of learning system with minimal supervision.
Assist staff with ad hoc expense reports and reimbursement
Other duties as assigned.
