Job title: Jr. Validation Analyst – 6 month contract

Job description: FutureSight is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual who is passionate about building great software products and businesses and taking our startups to the next level. You will be working closely with our Founders/Co-Founders to derive new opportunities and validate them in an iterative design thinking process. Jr. Validation Analyst will receive tremendous experience in; estimating future demand, identifying unmet market needs, product management, and agile business validation processes.
To be successful in this role, you will look at business ideas from a broad range of vertical domain spaces and horizontal technologies. You will be comfortable with switching contexts and coming up to speed on new markets, and monitoring emerging trends.

What you will be doing
- Assist in defining initial versions of business model design, risk assessment, opportunity scoring, and prioritization artifacts.
- Participate in customer validation interviews and debriefing sessions
- Participate in opportunity and experiment review meetings and assist with refinements to business models
- Work closely with the Founders/Co-Founders and the FutureSight Studio Team to ensure opportunities move systematically through the FutureSight Lifecycle Process
- Create industry overview documents, and ecosystem perspectives for FutureSight thesis/interest are
Requirements
- Post-secondary graduate with under 4 years of experience
- Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Agile and Design Thinking methodology is highly valued
- A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization
- A self-driven “getting things done” attitude
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization

Expected salary: $40000 – 46000 per year
