Position will start off as remote/work from home and return to office next year (September 2021)
- PAY RATE: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour (possible increase after 90 days)
- HOURS: Full-time 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday no weekends – 8: 00 AM – 5: 00 PM is main shift. Other shift available.
Pharmacy Technician Details
- Track and triage coverage determination requests submitted from providers and determine if a pharmacist review is required
- Review authorizations with clinically sound, detailed rationales that are consistent with the department’ s current policy and procedure and conditions of coverage based on electronic coverage determination platform
Required:
- Must have both a Current New York State’ s Pharmacy Technician license and a Current National Certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
- 2-3+ years of retail, hospital, PBM, or mail order pharmacy experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Software Skills Required: Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and pharmacy systems
