WHAT YOU’LL DO:
This position can be based remotely anywhere in the United States, but will require the successfull candidate to work Eastern US hours.
Product Leadership and Impact:
● Lead and execute work of a multi-function project team through rapid, data-driven iterations focused on customer and stakeholder outcomes.
● Collaborates alongside engineering design and business teams integrating customer insights with design best practices, building and deploying quality features.
● Shares views on issues and respectfully challenges decisions, once a decision is made commits to deliver.
● Begin to coach and help team execute on customer insights and data, acting as a source of knowledge for associates with less experience.
Works on Agile teams to drive story creation and prioritization, sprint planning, release planning, and is core contributor in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
· Can speak to the technology used in their product and has a view on new technologies.
Product Strategy and Go-To-Market:
● Partner with Product Director to define, manage, and execute individual product strategies with aligned, multi-year roadmaps.
● Partner with ADP’s other Benefits and HCM product teams to learn our legacy products, and find opportunities to surface existing capabilities to new customers
● Partner with product leaders in and across ADP’s portfolio of products, business stakeholders, and development teams at ADP.
● Collaborate with ADP’s Corporate Strategy Team as needed, to help identify opportunities outside of ADP for acquisition targets, competitive positioning, and other needs.
● Proactively adapt strategy to continually improve products through understanding business metrics and focus on product initiatives to drive results.
Customer Experience and Market Orientation:
· Proactively plans around market and product evolution, based on anticipating customer needs and competitor moves.
● Identify and propose new partnerships or acquisitions, through knowledge and understanding of competitors and the market, to broaden or enhance a product portfolio.
● Partnering with stakeholders, define and communicate the vision for the end-to-end customer experience journey from sign-up to setup.
● Partner with UX teams to design and run A/B tests and user research opportunities.
● Stays informed and up-to-date with the industry trends, best practices and emerging compliance changes in Employee Benefits space.
● Contributing to and establishing a social network presence through Blogs, Meetups, and other media sites.
● Ability to demonstrate products to the customers, partners and internal/external stakeholders.
Measurable Outcome Focus:
· Measure product(s) effectiveness, identify trends, report outcomes, and drive priorities to improve product, measure success against product KPIs.
● Clearly be able to articulate and deliver the vision, strategies, priorities, and desired outcomes to key partners across ADP.
● Proactively adapt strategy to continually improve products, proposes new products and features that combine data from feedback resources and prioritizes features and creates plan.
Required Qualifications
● 8+ years’ experience managing an agile design-driven, user-centered product and development team supporting the delivery of web/mobile based product(s).
Preferred Qualifications
● 3+ years’ experience working in either US Benefits or US Payroll space as a product manager or a business analyst
● Ability to navigate complex environments through product knowledge and leadership style.
● Experience working with data analytics, data insights, business matrices and KPIs.
● Proven ability to partner effectively across functions, with an exposure to complex organizations and the ability to gain shared vision on product decisions and priority trade-offs.
● Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues simply and convincingly to help drive fast decisions.
● Experience researching industry trends, usage analytics, competitive pressures and applying to product strategy & roadmap.
● Strives for simplicity and organization to expedite the most effective customer solution & experience.
● Thinking creatively, showing passion and ability to identify and deliver new product innovation.
