Job description: This would be a contract from July 19 – October 31, 2021.
Our Northern Ontario client is in need of an experienced full time RN for acute care hospital nursing or Emergency Room. Rate would be $50/hr plus remote location bonus.
Rotation between weeks up (3-5) and week home to be determined. Mileage (from home to work) at 0.52$/km, and accommodations are paid for the duration of the contract. Accommodation (private bedroom, private bathroom; shared kitchen, free laundry, free parking, free wifi, AC), is provided, along with meal allowance.
There is a minimum of 75 hours bi-weekly (12 hours shifts – 5 shifts week #1, 2 shifts week #2).
Qualifications
Education
All Primary Care Nurses must, as a minimum, have:
- aBaccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a recognized university or Diploma entry Registered Nurse;
- a Registered Nurse licence from the College of Nurses of Ontario, in good standing.
Experience
The Acute Care/ED Nurse shall possess, as a minimum, 2 years of full time equivalent of experience in an Acute Care or Emergency Department role. You must be able to function independently in these roles.
Other certifications:
- Current N95 mask fit certificate (tested within the last 2 years)
- Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (within the last two (2) years)
- Recent CPR/BLS
- ACLS would be an asset.
Expected salary: $50 per hour
