Job description: We have a great on site opportuntiy as part of the Purchasing team for a large manufacturing organization. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of Accounting experience across various functions including AP and AR, and extensive knowledge of creating and managing POs and RFQs. This role is starting off at 3 months but will likely extend and has the potential to become permanent. Responsibilities
Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing, availability and delivery
Ensure all relevant PO requisition information is entered and to establish sequence of priority
Track and montior payments
Action ad hoc accounting requirements as requested
Qualifications
5 years of Accounting experience across various functions
Able to learn to read and understand technical drawings is an asset
Previous experience with QuickBooks
Stong communciation skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work on site for an ongoing period of time
A bachelor’s degree in either business administration or accounting
