What you will do
As a Corporate Payments and Travel Analyst, you will be the first line of response, providing proactive customer service to both Bank employees and third-party companies. You will support the corporate payments by proactively ensuring invoices are paid on time and responding to inquiries as well as the travel program by reviewing travel profiles and providing guidance on the relevant policies including the Hospitality policy.
In addition, you will also provide support and guidance for the following services:
- Accounts Payable: Provide services for payment requests, one-time vendor payments, and tax calculations for invoices and payments requests for Canadian and non-Canadian invoices
- Accounts Receivable: Generate and transmit non-complex accounts receivable invoices and reconcile payments received amounts owed
- Financial Authorities Framework (FAF) Policy and Process: Maintain an FAF maintainer list for use by internal employees and Financial Services.
What you need to succeed
We are looking for an innovative problem solver with strong analytical and communication skills, who can proactively resolve issues while building and maintaining relationships. You will also possess the ability to research and investigate problems, identify and offer solutions within the parameters of the system, and link issues together to identify trends and anomalies.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills is key in this role and you must have knowledge of tax legislations (sales and others), systems and policies for all relevant domains. In addition, system knowledge (SAP, Kofax, Chrome River), accounting knowledge and skills and competency in Excel are all required to succeed in this position.
Your education and experience
This position requires a college diploma or university degree in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration and a minimum of two years of experience in AP/AR and expense management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
What you need to know
- Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
- Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
- Security level required: Reliability
- You will work remotely from any location within Canada while the Bank operates under mandatory telework. Flexibility for remote work for the duration of the term may be granted.

- Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $56,300 to $66,200 (job grade 13)
- Depending on performance, you may be eligible for performance pay for successfully meeting (3 to 5% of your base salary) or for exceeding expectations (7% of your base salary). Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
