Tatum is seeking a Senior M&A Tax Associate for a top national CPA firm. As a Senior M&A Tax Associate you’ll have the opportunity with partner with clients on strategic tax projects and business analysis, assisting with various aspects of mergers and acquisitions from strategy to execution.

salary: $100,000 – 130,000 per year

education: Bachelor’s degree

responsibilities:

  • Tax consulting and planning – analyzing proposed transactions for tax risks and undetermined tax benefits
  • Transaction structuring for tax issues and corporate restructuring – advising clients on tax-efficient restructuring
  • Due diligence – interpreting complex legislative and regulatory actions relating to corporate and partnership transactions, assisting clients with regulatory and legislative initiatives
  • Preparing for client review submission requests for private letter rulings and technical advice from the IRS
  • Strategy formulation and financial modeling

qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • MST, CPA, JD, or LLM in Tax preferred
  • 3+ years of tax experience within public accounting
  • 1+ years of relevant M&A Tax experience.
