Tatum is seeking a Senior M&A Tax Associate for a top national CPA firm. As a Senior M&A Tax Associate you’ll have the opportunity with partner with clients on strategic tax projects and business analysis, assisting with various aspects of mergers and acquisitions from strategy to execution.

responsibilities:
- Tax consulting and planning – analyzing proposed transactions for tax risks and undetermined tax benefits
- Transaction structuring for tax issues and corporate restructuring – advising clients on tax-efficient restructuring
- Due diligence – interpreting complex legislative and regulatory actions relating to corporate and partnership transactions, assisting clients with regulatory and legislative initiatives
- Preparing for client review submission requests for private letter rulings and technical advice from the IRS
- Strategy formulation and financial modeling
qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree Required
- MST, CPA, JD, or LLM in Tax preferred
- 3+ years of tax experience within public accounting
- 1+ years of relevant M&A Tax experience.
