BASIC FUNCTION:
This Amazing Opportunity has the basic function of supporting The Post Office and Store Manager with all characteristics to build a strong retail store and the Shannon Passero brand. The primary focus is building a strong retail store environment through Passion, Planning, Problem Solving, Leadership, Store Operations, Merchandising, Inventory Control, Proper Promotional Execution and Customer Service Internally and Externally.
This position requires an individual to be adequately versed in computer applications that directly relate to Scheduling, Budget tracking, Communication and Payroll Management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicates necessary information upward, ensuring their understanding of critical issues (job duties, payroll, etc.) by developing a weekly action plan with guidance and assistance when necessary from Direct Reports.
- Motivates all employees to optimize each worker’s skills to maintain the highest levels of productivity and planning.
- Results orientated with a focus on goals, organizing time, work and resources efficiently while tracking and monitoring each team member’s performance.
- Problem solving by looking at facts referring to standards and procedures, while understanding exceptional situations happen and thinking outside the box;
- Manages and delegates the workflow of all jobs and understanding Stress Management is important and managing ones’ emotions is key in the Assistant Manager role;
- Maintains co-operative working relationships with all Company employees.
- Responsible for preparing timely and accurate daily, weekly and monthly bookkeeping;
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
- Experience: A minimum of two years’ experience in a Retail Management Role is required to be considered for the Assistant Store Manager Position.
