The Opportunity
As we continue to grow as a newly public company, we are seeking a Senior Analyst, Equipment Recovery who is responsible for driving the global process related to recovering Ortho equipment for the use of refurbishment, field transfer or harvest. This person will interface with regional commercial and customer service teams to develop reporting for analyzer identification, forecasting of available analyzers and cost to redeploy equipment. The person will also create the process for returning equipment to Ortho’s suppliers or local workshops.
Create global process to identify, purchase and return Ortho equipment for the purpose to be refurbished. Work with regional teams to build and improve processes related to instrument recovery. The position can be based in Rochester, NY or Raritan, NJ. Remote work options may be considered.
The Responsibilities
Create reporting within Ortho’s systems (SAP, SFDC, Datawarehouse) to identify opportunities to recover analyzers, forecast analyzers being recovered and reduce analyzers lost to outside sources.
Improve cost to recover analyzers and return to manufacturer for refurb or harvest.
Review analyzer service history and determine analyzer disposition to be refurb, harvest, etc.
Creates customized reports for service and automation excellence team to support projects and process development
Interacts successfully with regional leaders and team members
Actively promotes the creation of customer advocacy.
Interacts with Global Marketing to align with the forecasted units
Interacts with Quality to establish process/SOP for in field transfers
The Individual
BA/BS, or equivalent (2 years) of relevant experience in an engineering or scientific field is required.
Minimum of 2-4 year’s analyst experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is rqquired.
Experience with Vitros Clinical Labs / TM analyzers desired.
Understanding FDA and global regulatory authorities’ diagnostic device regulations.
Experience with SalesForce.com a plus
Strong communication skills-able to lead teams.
Ability to travel up to 5% globally as needed. Working outside normal office hours due to time zone differences may be required. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record and passport is required.
Strong organizational skills, good follow through, appropriate follow up.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to get the job done (within policy) in spite of obstacles
A pragmatic and self-motivated team player.
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage assigned workload within allotted time constraints.

Colorado State Posting Details: This position’s starting salary is between $65,000 and $118,000 per year, and it is bonus eligible. Salary will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. Ortho offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, paid time off (including paid sick time) and paid holidays.
