Job description: Pharmacy Technician needed to work in a hospital in Queens, NY!
Day Shift Monday-Friday
35 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Prepares non patient specific batches of IV solutions in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepares manual dispensing records for approval by Pharmacist.
- Maintains & retrieves pharmacy records using automated and/or manual systems.
- Deliver medications to units
- Assist Pharmacist in filling medication orders and prepare emergency code trays.
- Fill non-controlled medications in automatic dispensing cabinets
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- PTCB Certification.
- 1 year pharmacy experience.
- Inpatient and outpatient experience needed.
