Recruiting for Compliance Analyst position for one of the leading Banks in Canada.
The primary purpose of this job is to perform regulatory and compliance program required monitoring and control testing for Personal & Business Banking lines of business. The person in this position will work with the Personal & Business Banking Regulatory Compliance & Operation Risk Team and raise issues as warranted.

What is the job?
- Conducting monitoring and control testing (M&T) for Personal & Business Banking lines of business
- Collecting and analyzing relevant evidence
- Documenting work completed and requesting approval
- Incorporating feedback received from stakeholders on completed work
- Ad-hoc activities as it relates to identifying improvement opportunities
- Maintaining documentation in appropriate repositories or systems
- Assist with ensuring exceptions noted are addressed to resolve issues or action plans
What do you bring to the job?
- 3-5+ years Banking Compliance experience, specifically in Personal and Business banking realms
- Previous audit, compliance or operational risk testing experience is a strong asset
- Ability to read and understand technical compliance material
- Detailed knowledge of the Bank Act and Consumer Protection regulations
- Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Exposure to risk and control environment and understanding of what good control looks like
