As the Servicing and Collections Analyst, you will be responsible for working alongside the Servicing and Collections team to ensure all existing loans and customer inquiries are addressed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer inquiries, addressing payment issues, and providing borrowers with solutions to payment hardship.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our borrowers utilizing industry knowledge and expert problem-solving skills.
  • Keep-pace with changing guidelines within the loan servicing operations process and applicable policies, based on changes in lending requirements, or recommendations by CFPB, FDCPA and other state regulatory agencies.
  • Collect client payments in accordance with payment due dates.
  • Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management.
  • Review and monitor assigned accounts and all collection reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-3 years of servicing and collections experience.
  • Knowledge of effective collection practices for unsecured lending products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as customer service, analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Must feel comfortable communicating with clients daily primarily by phone.
  • Critical problem solver with strong decision-making ability, excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • A customer-centric mentality for which empathy, soft skills, and professionalism are a must.
  • Teamwork mentality and positive demeanor.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment where learning and developing new skills are essential.

Monday – Friday; 9am – 6pm EST
