Job description: Job Details Part-timeEstimated: $46,000 – $67,000 a year1 hour ago Qualifications – Laboratory experience – Spectrometer – Bachelor’s degree Full Job Description Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist Company: Roswell Park Cancer Institute Department: Toxicology Time Type: Part time Weekly Hours: 20 Shift: Variable (United States of America) Summary: Primary assignment will be the performance of clinical laboratory testing utilizing Mass spectrometry methods. Provides assistance with the validation of new clinical assays including data analysis utilizing software tools. Maintains laboratory operations in compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines. This position will include itional cross-training assignment in another area of the clinical laboratory based on experience and operational need. Provides technical supervision and training to subordinate-level staff members; performs simple and complex laboratory test procedures in a timely manner as assigned; obtains and interprets data for diagnosis and treatment of disease; performs related laboratory technology duties. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience 1. Possession of a full license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or 2. Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline and eligibility for full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York. NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices. The preferred candidate will have experience with LC-MS/MS Methodologies, experience with NYS CLEP method validation and Laboratory standards, experience with statistical packages, analytical/mass spectrometer and other software programs.
