JOB DESCRIPTION: Accounts Payable Analyst
The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for ensuring invoice processing is timely, accurate and complete. Make sure all invoices are reconciled and match purchase orders and resolve disputes with the departments/suppliers directly.
Due to COVID, this position will be mostly remote for the time being. When the restrictions are lifted, this position is expected to have time on site as well as remote.
Essential Responsibilities:
Analyze & process invoices to ensure that vendor payables are in accordance to contract terms and within predetermined performance measurements. Prepare weekly payment reports (checks/wires).
Manage vendor/supplier accounts, responding to payment inquiries, and flagging potential issues, holds & price differences, create chargebacks to suppliers.
Reconcile statements of account.
Control un-posted (curated) cash for pre-payments confirming with supplier why a pre-payment.
Performs research of outstanding invoice payments, complete payment upon confirmation.
Process monthly commission payment.
Liaise with management, providing updates and consistent communications addressing needs promptly.
Other duties as assigned (filing invoices, etc.)
Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent, associates degree preferred
5-10 years of finance experience with a minimum of 5 years in accounts payable experience.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to perform under pressure
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
Strong proficiency in Microsoft office products including Excel & Word
Must be proficient in Google suite products
Oracle experience is highly preferred
Salary range $50,000 – $55,000
