Seeking a Passionate Nurse Manager of Infection Control for Central New York Hospital
This growing, reputable hospital system offers the ability to make an impact and is seeking a Nurse Manager of Infection Control. This RN Nurse Manager CIC should have strong leadership skills and a positive attitude that can motivate the nursing team to bring their best to every patient.

Responsibilities of the Nursing Manager, Infection Control:
- Collect and analyze infection data stats, provide reports
- Work in collaboration with CDC, county and state health organizations
- Train, mentor and educate RN infection control staff nurses
- Work to uphold and achieve hospital goals and processes
- Introduce best practices and educational pieces to CIC nursing staff
- Encourage compassionate care and highest level of patient experience provided
- Work in compliance with JCO standards, CMS, OSHA and state regulations
- Review risks, create improvement plans and implement
- Educate hospital staff on best practices and procedures
Requirements for the Nursing Manager, Infection Control:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing
- BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required
- Current New York Nursing License
- CPHQ Preferred
- 5+ years clinical hospital-based experience
- 3+ years Infection Control nursing experience required
- 2+ years nurse leadership experience preferred
