Orion is currently seeking a Vertical Industry Business Development Manager to work remotely.

Location: Remote
Compensation: $80K-$150K

Position Description
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the identification, selling, and expansion of accounts in a specific designated industry. This is a national position able to penetrate deeply into the vertical while developing into a subject matter expert. This could include Finance/Accounting, Medical, Technology, IT, Construction, or others. This position reports to a regional sales manager, Orion Talent – Military. In your role, it is expected that you will work accounts by developing Orion product lines including Military, Civilian and Mid-Level, Executive, and YTY spend. Other responsibilities include identification of military programs or RPO opportunities. You will have penetration of accounts across the nation including a corporate focus and drive. Development of accounts can include the inclusion of Account Executives from offices or the formation of strategic teams. Responsibilities will include:

  • Account Development and Management – Identification, commitment, expansion and retention of accounts in your assigned vertical. Drive high client satisfaction, revenue growth, and sell strategically and tactically.
  • Innovation – Sell all Orion service lines within your vertical.
  • Teamwork – Work across offices with other managers on key accounts, training of your vertical and SME knowledge.
  • Leadership – Pacesetting leadership in breaking and expansion of accounts.
  • Systems – Develop key account management process to grow accounts YTY while maintaining an accurate diamond with current and relevant sales objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a database of the top 250 clients in the designated industry in PCR.
  • Maintain a weekly prospecting call plan that uses marketing for new leads of POCs and companies.
  • Conduct annual and quarterly business reviews of client company relationships.
  • Utilize client visits to develop and maintain accounts.
  • Organize portfolio of accounts through Orion Diamond system.
  • Attend and present at trade shows on Staffing/Hiring initiatives.
  • Develop and present training material to Account Executive field team.
  • Help create and maintain digital marketing inside your vertical.
  • Push informational content to the field and over social media.
  • Learn and utilize Miller Heiman methodology to include green and blue sheets.

Expected salary: $80000 – 150000 per year
