This Desktop Support Analyst position, which is a short-term temporary opportunity, is located in the Ossining, New York, area.
Key responsibilities
– Settle computer problems, and offer suggestions on appropriate action/solutions
– Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
– Interface regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
– Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
– Administer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
– Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
– Match hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Job Requirements:
– Desktop support or related experience
– Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
– Command of Nortel
– Adeptness in PC skills
– PC desktop/workstations experience
– Comprehensive knowledge of NCR
– Strong familiarity with PBX-PABX
– PC Hardware experience
