Job Posting Description:
Are you interested in vulnerability assessments and risk awareness? Reporting to the Manager, Information Risk Management, you will ensure that the risks related to the LCBO’s computer systems, applications and network connections are monitored, mitigated and reported in a timely manner to confirm the sustainment of the IT Control Environment. You will provide support to ensure compliance to all PCI-DSS, ICFR/ITGC, Auditor General, and internal audits to confirm the LCBO is adhering to industry practices as they relate to information technology.

About the Role
- Engage with business partners to provide risk advisory services and facilitate in the development and maintenance of Governance documents, IT Controls Framework and IT Policies and Procedures
- Ensure the maintenance and up-keep of IT Risk Register and risk management related documentation
- Identify, investigate, and communicate remediation activities, using various software security tools, to resolve information security issues and track outstanding remediation efforts to completion
- Work in partnership with managed service security providers to provide security services, metrics and KPI reporting
- Provide status reporting on audit gaps and remediation’s for IT Leadership, including monthly CIO updates, IT leadership extracts for IT divisions, project governance and audit committee updates
- Identify process defects, changes required, and collaborate on process changes
- Recommend information security improvements, upgrades, andor new technologies as opportunities present
- Participate in the development and delivery of Security and Risk Awareness programs
- Perform internal computer forensic investigations as required
About You
- Post graduate degree or diploma in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science or a related program, or equivalent work experience
- Certified Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) designations is considered an asset
- 5 to 8 years of experience as part of an Information Security team, with solid experience in external and internal audits
- Experience with PCI-DSS compliance is considered an asset
- Excellent problem solving and resolution skills, as well as strong analytical skills
- Proven verbal, written, presentation and communications skills with all levels of management
- Ability to exercise effective independent judgment, to prioritize and deliver business results in a fast paced, high pressure and demanding environment with challenging priorities
- Good interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to build credibility and collaboration
