What you will do
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Vendor and Asset Management, this position performs a range of activities, including but not limited to oversight on IT contract management and related processes. As an Analyst, you will act as the key liaison between the client, vendor, Procurement Services and other ITS stakeholders for all contract-related activities including purchasing and renewals. You will analyze, advise, coordinate, and deliver a broad range of contracting activities in collaboration with the other Analysts.
Other responsibilities will include:
- act as the first point of contact for ITS contract inquiries, providing critical and timely advice and information to team members, clients and key stakeholders of all levels regarding policies and contract management
- provide contracting support by assessing client requirements, gathering supplemental information and reviewing contract documents
- submit requisitions on behalf of clients, assist clients with developing Statements of Work (SoWs), engage vendors through existing contracts and track competitive processes in the pipeline (e.g. RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc.)
- establish contract management objectives, procedures, templates and workflow processes
- communicate clear and concise contract overviews to clients and key stakeholders, and provide clarity on contract elements when required (summary of key contract terms, risks, opportunities, etc.)
- gather and analyze contract information, develop reports and metrics to track delivery of services and monitor risks
- monitor client buying trends and make recommendations on repeatable process improvements and trends
- support the development and implementation of process modernization, identify areas of improvement, recommend and investigate solutions and corrective action where needed, play a key role in gathering information and feedback

- work effectively as a team player and provide technical guidance to colleagues
- communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Sound knowledge of:
- contract management theories, concepts, best practices and trends
- data and metrics gathering and interpretation
Nice-to-have
- SAP and ServiceNow experience
Your education and experience
This position requires a post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field such as business administration, supply chain management or purchasing and 3 to 4 years of recent, progressive, and demonstrated experience in contract management or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
What you need to know
- Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
- Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
- Security level required: Secret
- You will work remotely from any location within Canada while the Bank operates under mandatory telework. Flexibility for remote work for the duration of the term may be granted.

- Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $71,300 to $83,800 (job grade 15)
- Depending on performance, you may be eligible for performance pay for successfully meeting (5 to 7% of your base salary) or for exceeding expectations (10% of your base salary). Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
