National Pledge of Barbados
I Pledge allegiance to my country Barbados and to my flag,
to uphold and defend their honour,
and by my living, to do credit to my nation, wherever I go.
National Pledge of the British Virgin Islands
I pledge to my country, the Territory of the Virgin Islands, to encourage national pride and dignity, render patriotic service, promote justice for all, be true to God and remain dedicated to these Virgin Islands.
National Pledge of Dominica
The National Pledge was written by Peter Israel.
On occasions when the National Pledge is recited the following form should be used:
“Before God and all mankind,
I pledge allegiance to the flag
of the Commonwealth of Dominica
and to the Sovereign Republic for which it stands;
my love, my loyalty and skills,
in the service of Dominica and my fellow citizens.
I promise to work diligently and to help build
a prosperous and peaceful Nation.”
Grenada National Pledge
I pledge allegiance to the Flag,
and to the country for which it stands,
with liberty, justice and equality for all.
I pledge also to defend and uphold
the Honour, Dignity, the Laws and Institutions of my country
National Pledge of Guyana
I pledge myself to honor always the Flag of Guyana, and to be loyal to my country, to be obedient to the laws of Guyana, to love my fellow citizens, and to dedicate my energies towards the happiness and prosperity of Guyana.
National Pledge of Jamaica
Before God and all mankind, I pledge the love and loyalty of my heart, the wisdom and courage of my mind, the strength and vigour of my body in the service of my fellow citizens; I promise to stand up for Justice, Brotherhood and Peace, to work diligently and creatively, to think generously and honestly, so that Jamaica may, under God, increase in beauty, fellowship and prosperity, and play her part in advancing the welfare of the whole human race.
