It has been a month since Ubuntu 15.04 was released, but every Ubuntu user know after the release of a new Ubuntu version there will be followed by the announcement of the new codename for the next released. It just took some time until Mark Shuttleworth announce new name for Ubuntu 15.10 with Wily Werewolf.
Normal naming convention Ubuntu is always with two worded codename and both words start with the same alphamet, for example for previous version for Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet. Ubuntu always named it with first word as an adjective and the second word is named after an endangered species. But I don’t know this version use Werewolf as it codename, as we know Werewolf is not exactly an endangered animal but it’s a name for a mythical creature. This is not the first time Ubuntu use a mythical creature as codename, earlier Ubuntu 14.10 was named with Utopic Unicorn, But don’t worry about the name, it would be interesting to see what features Ubuntu 15.10 is going to bring to the table.
